Habbo Helpers is a user-led safety program, consinsting of Habbo's who volunteer to make Habbo a safer place by assisting other users, moderating user reported cases and giving tours of the hotel. The program is open to all users, regardless of ones ban and/or infraction records. The program is similiar to the older Habbo Guides program.

History

Following the Great Mute of June 2012, which happened as a result of Channel 4 protesting Habbo, Habbo Helpers were introduced with the purpose of maintaing safety. The program was released on June 7, 2012 on the .COM hotel. At first, the program was met with mixed responses, with many users pointing out that other users were abusing the system by sending in fake help requests. Other users expressed that it was a great way to have better and more effective moderation, since users sometimes have a better understanding of what is best for their fellow players. 

Talent Tree 

Helpers have the opporitunity of progressing through the helper ranks by completing various achievements. The ranks are as follows:

• Frank's Little Helper
• Habbo Helper
• Novice Guardian
• Guardian

You can check your progression in the "talent track", which can found by clicking the icon of your Habbo along the bottom of the screen.

Becoming a helper

In order to become a helper, a user has to have completed the Habbo Way safety quiz and have spent 360 minutes in the hotel. Once completed, a few simple steps have to be completed: 

You have now gained the "helper tool"! You can find it by clicking the icon of your Habbo along the bottom of the screen. Click the "on duty now" button, and you're ready to begin helping other Habbos!
