Yes you are right, the one and only Christina Aguilera is back after one season of absence as she gave birth to beautiful daughter. The Voice is a singing competition in the United States and has won 2 Emmys for Outstanding Reality - Competition Program. The first season of The Voice was aired April 2011 and has crowned 9 different winners from different genres in music.

The Process of The Voice 

Blind Audition - The coaches' chairs are faced towards the audience during artists' performances; those interested in an artist press their button, which turns their chair towards the artist and illuminates the bottom of the chair to read "I want you." At the conclusion of the performance, an artist either defaults to the only coach who turned around, or selects his or her coach if more than one coach expresses interest.

The Battle Rounds - In the "Battle Rounds," each coach pairs two of his or her team members to perform together, then chooses one to advance in the competition. In each season, coaches are assisted by celebrity mentors that are different each season. A new element was added in season three; coaches were given two "steals", allowing each coach to select two individuals who were eliminated during a battle round by another coach. the host give the announcer pairings.

Battle, Rounds 2 / Knockout Round - Just like the Battle Rounds, Battle Round 2 has the same concept of Battle Round 1. Where team members have to perform a song together. However for the Knockout Round individual are to compete against their teammates in a 1 to 1 match up. The artist have to prepare their own song with the guidance of their coach and advisor.

Live Shows - Artists perform in weekly shows, where public voting narrows to a final group of artists and eventually declares a winner. Those who earn the lowest number of vote will be eliminated off the show.
