What if when we die the light at the end of the tunnel is the light to another hospital room, there we are born and the only reason you come out crying is because you remember everything from your past life and you're crying because you've died and lost everything you worked hard for, or because you never got to live that life at all. 

As you grow you start to forget your past life and focus on the life you have now, but patches of memory stay behind and that memory causes deja vu when similarities between the people you once knew and the people you know now are present. Think about it for a second.

Oh my god my sister was talking exactly this the other day but I simply brushed it off.

I don't really agree with this theory simply because when a baby first cries, they're taking their first breath in life BUT I do try to believe in the thought of reincarnation. Simply just dying with no afterlife sounds more upsetting to me.
