Chrome Removing Flash Player Support 28 Feb 2017 6:14 AM
Within the following weeks and days, Google Chrome will finally finish its program of phasing out support of Flash Player within the web browser.

This has been followed due to the strong belief and recognition that Flash Player has many bugs and exploits, many haven't even been discovered yet. Due to these vulnerabilities, Google took the bold decision to require those running Flash Player to either change to HTML5, which is the newer standard and isn't maintained by Adobe, it is built directly into the majority of web browsers.

Nonetheless, this means that Habbo will either need to move over to HTML5 or require all users to manually allow access by side loading Adobe Flash Player, then asking users to unblock the site as it being safe for use. Since Google has warned developers since 2012 this would happen, the fact Habbo hasn't updated would mean it will probably be staying on Flash and will not change to HTML5.

This of course could be due to compatibility problems, or funds and development just simply not being available.

Do you think this is big news for Habbo? Would you think it would affect members joining?

Let me know your thoughts!
