I do believe in them, I go with the idea that it's people's spirits who haven't passed through properly yet & have something they need to do before they can move on.

My mum used to own a pub and there were guest rooms upstairs that people stayed in if they were travelling etc. At one point there was nobody staying in the pub at all and I remember walking past a room and seeing a woman sat towards me looking down at her feet. She was really still and didn't move and I SPRINTED down the hallway so fast. She was gone when I found my mum to show her lol.
