Regarding to price, I would choose ballpoint pens, but if I want to be stylish and all, I would go for gel pens.

I particularly use gel pens to write headings/titles of notes/articles/essays and to sign stuffs, and I mainly use ballpoint to write the content of my notes/essay etc :D
