iOS 10 and macOS Sierra 17 Jun 2016 6:01 PM
Apple has announced its upcoming updates for watchOS, tvOS, macOS and of course, iOS on Monday at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2016 in California.

OS X is now called macOS. macOS Sierra comes with a bunch of cool new features:
- if you are wearing an Apple Watch, your Mac will now automatically unlock
- iCloud Drive will allow users to share their desktop across all devices
- iCloud will now automatically move older files into the cloud, clearing up space for new files
- Apple Pay on the web, with authentication using TouchID on iOS devices
- Siri is now available on the Mac
- Universal Clipboard,  copy on a device, paste it on another different device.
- Picture in Picture is now available on the Mac
etc.

And of course, iOS 10:

- Redesigned lock screen, swipe left for camera, swipe right for widgets
- Raise to wake feature
- Ability to delete native apps such as Stocks
- Siri SDK is now open to developers
- Quick Type enhancements
- Facial recognition in the Photos app
- Memories in Photos app to create movies, slide shows and more
- Proactive features in Maps
- Apple Music revamp
- News App revamp
- A new Home app to control all your HomeKit compatible accessories.
- Voicemail transcriptions and block spam calls
- A new VoIP API that allows your VoIP apps (WhatsApp, Skype) to appear on the lock screen just like regular phone calls
- A whole new Messages app with tons of new features such as rich links, larger Emojis, handwriting and digital touch, bubble effects, message animations and Invisible Ink.
etc.

Check out Apple's website for previews and further information on the upcoming software updates.

Hey Armset - Any ideas on what the device support will be like on these new updates? I have a 2011 iMac and 2011 MacBook Pro... I'm waiting for the day Apple tell me they won't support my devices anymore due to age.... :(

As for iOS I'm excited! I know my phone will be compatible :D
