2016 Pulitzer Prize - Feature Photography 23 Jul 2016 9:05 AM
For those who are unaware of the Pulitzer Prizes, basically it is an award for an achievement in American journalism, literature and music. There are 14 categories which participants can send their entry to, from International reporting to feature photography, Pulitzer Prizes showcase the best works and bring light to certain social issues.

Jessica Rinaldi of The Boston Globe claimed this years Feature Photography.

Her work depicts a boy, Strider Wolf, who was abused almost to death by his mother's boyfriend. After the ordeal, he was taken care of by his grandparents who ended up homeless as they could not afford to provide for Strider and his brother's needs.

Now Strider is set to find himself and wishes to be loved like every other kid.

Note: he has a visible scar on his stomach as a reminder of his abuse
