A Rather Deplorable Tale

Encounter the tragic events that plague the Baudelaire children!

Step 1

Step on the Strange Auras highlighted below until you find the correct one which will teleport you towards the Lifeguard Tower.

The correct Strange Aura is constantly changing and needs to be found before the scene begins.

The Strange Auras will stop working once the scene begins and will only work again 10 seconds after the scene has finished.

Once on the Lifeguard Tower, wait for the scene to finish. You will automatically teleport once it is done.

Step 2

Wait patiently in the queue shown below.

Once in the game you have 1 minute to align the four Hammer Tosses so that they are on the Large Red Wooden Stages at the exact same time.

Align a Hammer Toss by blocking its movement with your Habbo and then moving out of the way to release it when another Hammer Toss approaches so that they move in sync with one another.

Repeat this with the remaining Hammer Tosses and flick the switch once all of them are on the stages at the same time to proceed.

Tips:

1. Start from the leftmost hammer toss as it prevents you from accidentally messing up the timing if you were to start from the right and run back to the swtich later, potentially blocking the hammer tosses you just aligned.

2. As seen in the example below there is no need to sync the rightmost hammer toss with the others. After you have synced the first three hammer tosses together, simply block the rightmost hammer toss on top of the stage and flick the switch when all of the hammer tosses are on the stages together.

Step 3

Make your way across the rollers towards the Stair Block highlighted in blue whilst avoiding the Rattle Snakes.

The nests are safe spots.

Step 4

Wait patiently in the queue shown below.

Once in the game you have 1 minute to make your way towards Jacquelyn the Bot without being hit by any of the reptiles.

The shortest route through the hedge maze is shown below.

Once stood in the spot indicated below, say "Olaf has my spyglass!" to proceed.

Step 4

Step on the Santorini Pier Piece highlighted below and say "*Throws*" when the moving snacks are on top of the Bazaar Vase to proceed.

Step on either of the Arrow Plates shown below.

Enter the teleport shown below.

Step 5

Stand on the tile shown below and say "Curdled Cave" to get Klaus the Bot to move onto the other Marble Tile, causing the Attic Gate to open.

Enter the teleport shown below.

Note: The Attic Gate only remains open for a few seconds.

Step 6

Stand on the tiles highlighted in blue in front of the Library Bookcases and say "*Search*".

You will teleport upon finding the correct bookcase.

The correct bookcase is constantly changing.

Enter the teleport shown below.

Step 7

Wait for the gate highlighted to open and step on it once it does.

Wait for the scene to finish. You will be automatically teleported once it is done.

Sit on the Japanese Bench highlighted below to receive your badge!
