Silly and Informative Holidays of the year !

Starting this week, I, Alyssa, will be doing a daily "Holiday Celebration" article, with the day's "holidays" and a few informative points on each one. I hope you enjoy !

Cellophane Tape Day

First of all, what is cellophane tape ? It is the plastic tape used in everyday use, like for wrapping presents hanging decorations or doing crafts.

In the year 1930, on may 27th, cellophane tape was first invented, and instead of using string to wrap gifts, we started using tape ! What a relief.

Don't Fry Day & Sun Screen Day 

In America, Don't Fry Day and Sun Screen Day is more of an awareness day, made for those who go outside in the summer sun to celebrate Memorial Day. 

Don't Fry Day is the Friday before Memorial Day every year in order to raise awareness to wear sunscreen, to have too much sun exposure, and to overall prevent skin cancer. 

The hottest temperatures of the day are between the times of 11am - 2pm ! So be sure to stay aware of the dangers of sun exposure and skin safety overall !
