• There is actually no official inventor of the Hamburger, but many have claimed to be the inventor within the 19th and 20th century, but do not have any dated and specific proof.
• The term Hamburger originally comes from the city Hamburg, Germany, which is a denonym of Hamburg. Just like city Frankfurt, where the name Frankfurter came into play.
• One of the first fast food restaurants to serve hamburgers was White Castle, during World War I.
