My take on Artbox Singapore at Marina Bay: from Insta-worthy shots of colorful snacks and beverages, creative art installations and DIY handicrafts, to the extreme heat and bustling crowd.

From all the hype and buzz on Instagram, we've managed to spend our Sunday at Artbox Singapore which is located a stone throw away from Marina Bay Sands. We came prepared and early of course (as it was the last day) to try out all the exquisite food. Although it was insanely crowded and hot, the weather definitely did not dampen the crowd.

So what I like about this market:

Instagrammable food and beverages

Despite the long queues, I was lucky enough to grab my hands on the colorful fruit juices, Dragon Breathe Candy (candy chilled with liquid nitrogen), Thai Pancakes, Kebabs, Thai Ice Milk Tea and Pulled Pork Fries. Due to the unexpected turnouts, some of the food which I was really looking forward to are already sold out...

Creative Crafts

Since this is an "Artbox" event, most stores were selling handmade craft, handphone covers, and even vintage clothing at an affordable price.

And what I dislike about this market:

Cramp Spaces

Yeah, I know Singapore is small, the market is insanely cramped throughout the 2 weekends. The organizers could have utilized the "extra" spaces to its full capacity.

Overpriced

Talking about daylight robbery, most of the stuff that is selling at the market are overpriced, to be honest. However, most of the items, food, and beverages are unique so why not splurge a little more and enjoy this to your heart's content.

Not too sure if this is what we would want to go through again (if this event is happening again next year?) though the street snacks here is both mouthwatering and interesting!
