Habbo has come up with a new trading system and

  • You are now able to type in the amount of furni/credits to be put in a trading slot immediately, saving lots of time as you no longer need to for example, click 100 times to imput 100 bronze coins.
  • When receiving credits in a trade (Bronze Coins, Gold Bars, Diamond Ducks, Emerald Rings; etc), the amount of credits that you receive will be added to your purse instead of having those items delivered to your inventory.

So, for example, instead of receiving a gold bar, you will receive 50 credits.

How it the new inventory looks like:

You can input the amount of furni/credits you want by replacing "0" with another number.

Coins look like this when being you are receiving it.

Coins that you receive will be automatically placed in your purse, which is found at the top-right hand corner.

Habbo made these changes because:

  • Multi-item trading increases efficiency, allowing you to get more done in a single transaction.
  • Having a summary of credits instead of credit furni icons makes it easier to understand the value you are receiving in a trade.
  • Over the years they have discovered a link between movement of credit furni and fraudulent transactions. By converting credit furni to credits in player to player trades, they can combat fraud* more effectively.

*Note: The "fraud" Habbo is talking about equates to how players usually buy:

  • Silver Coins for 4c instead of the face value of 5c
  • Gold Coins for 9c instead of the face value of 10c
  • Sacks for 18c instead of the face value of 20c
  • Gold bars for 47/48c instead of the face value of 50c

These currencies when bought, can be converted back into the purse for their face value, which means a player earns 1-3c from such a transaction.

However, the disadvantage for the new trading system is that we have to exchange our currencies at the Habbo Exchange, found in the Shop, and they charge 1c for every option you choose to buy:

  • 1 Bronze Coin (FV:1c) costs 2c
  • 10 Bronze Coins costs 11c
  • 1 Silver Coins (FV:5c) costs 6c
  • 1 Gold Coin (FV:10c) costs 11c
  • 1 Gold bar (FV:50c) costs 51c

*FV = Face Value
