Bathroom Laws Regarding Gender!

What does it mean to be transgender? Someone who is transgender does not identify with the gender that they were assigned at birth.

Within the past month, North Carolina became the first US state to mandate discrimination against those who identify as transgender.

The state has banned any transgender from using the bathrooms and locker rooms in schools and government building in which they identify with. That means that those who identify as male but are female at birth, are ordered to use a girls restroom, and vice versa.

Different states in the USA have been passing laws, considering the transgender youth and beyond, and allowing any person who identifies as transgender to use the bathroom where they feel most comfortable and identify with.

The topic has brought an uprise in conversations and arguments where people both support and do not support the laws being put in place. Many parents are becoming outraged and pulling their children out of schooling because of laws that are being passed.

Many students in public schools identify as transgender and feel uncomfortable and have to hide their true selves due to the matter at hand.

The "discomfort" of others has been leading to the discrimination of anyone that identifies as transgender.

This current topic is still an issue everyday in the United States and is still trying to be addressed.

Should those who identify as transgender should be able to use the bathroom that they feel most comfortable using?
