Poems by Jing #5: Untitled
Posted on 5 January 2018
In a city full of sounds and voices
One would learn not to accidentally pick up another's
And mistaken it for their own
It is a painful process
A deeply troubling recess
Herein we find ourselves in complete suspension
Between nothing
Ourselves questioning and doubting everything
All that is encountered
Yet eventually
And finally
Realize that our purposes overshadow tawdry reasoning
We finally find our cry
And therein 'tis why
We find our voice.
