Almost every year, we see new programming languages that for people who don't usually do this activity, just merely goes unnoticed by them. However, even though we don't normally get stressed out about the idea of having a new programming language in our games, we always need to get used to the new redesigined structure that it can bring about.

In this case, Habbo hardly ever changes the design of the game (and the last time that he tried with the Illumina project, it was a total failure). Nevertheless, what if Habbo is forced to change it? Tech companies speculate with the idea of not giving support to Flash Player anymore, that means, that the code with which Habbo is programmed won't receive updates in about two years.

On the one hand, let's start from the beginning, why Adobe (the company responsible for Flash Player) would stop giving support to Flash Player? The answer is simple, HTML5. This brand new technology that was implemented by Apple a few years ago, forbidding Flash Player in all their devices, followed by Google and more companies caused the Flash Player to get forgotten. That's why you couldn't play Habbo on your smartphones and tablet browsers before the iOS and Android app appeared.

On the other hand, what would Habbo do in that case? Well, it is difficult to know, but we can certainly say that Habbo would be reprogrammed to the new language, HTML5. The question is, may that change of code be accompanied of a new design? Are we going to see the design that we actually see on Habbo for iOS and Android, on Habbo for PC? One thing is clear, if this happens, we are going to say goodbye to Habbo Retroservers (because HTML5 can't be copied) and we are going to welcome a faster and non-lagging Habbo. Would you be interested in a different, more efficent Habbo? What do you think Habbo is going to do in relation to HTML5?
