“Most of Singapore received above average rainfall in June, said the MSS.” – Channel NewsAsia

Currently, we are approaching the end of July and I’m pretty sure average rainfall recorded for July will be similar to June's. Singapore is experiencing the Southwest Monsoon season now (June-September) where regular showers and thunderstorms are expected.

Take a look at the change in temperatures following the monsoon:

As you can see, it is relatively cooler now. By 'relatively' I meant A WHOLE LOT COOLER Since Singapore is summer all year round, I consider Southwest Monsoon to be such a blessing. If you asked me to describe the weather, I would say that "the sky’s having mood swings right now". The sky can be clear and sunny but at the same time a thunderstorm may make its appearance any time. Also, the intensity of the rain just can’t be predicted at all.

I was taking some videos of the light shower:

Sorry I’m poor, my phone’s camera isn’t of good quality!

That was the third floor and the tree branches were ramming onto the corridor. I tried my best to get a decent footage!! After filming all these, I felt like I just had a shower because I was soaked despite being under shelter... Personally, I love the cool weather and I do not want this to ever end.

How about you? What season do you like best?
