What Friendship Means to Me

Friendship. When you hear that word, what comes to mind? For me, it's the phrase, " a friend in need, is a friend indeed."
What does friendship mean to me -
Friendship. It's a special bond that can be formed with anyone you want, regardless of their skin color, their religion or their gender.
It's when you can be stupid, dumb, funny, serious, nerdy, wild, whenever you want, when you're with them. It's when you want to cry, but when you turn around, they're standing there with two buckets of ice cream and a copy of The Notebook. It's when you go to bed with a smile on your face, because you know you've found your best friend in the most unexpected person.
To me, friendship does not necessarily mean being there for someone each and every time they need you to be. Instead, it's being there to make up for it.
