In a typical day of judgements, the Gatekeepers of Heaven and Hell were taking a break from discussing and deciding the souls’ entry to either Heaven or Hell.
 
Heaven: Gosh it only takes a minute to judge one but we still have 4 billion people more to go! Not only that, judging is hard cause it’s so subjective!
 
Hell: Tell me about it.
 
Heaven: Hey. I got an idea. Why don’t we just place a banzai in each of our domain, have the soul step on another banzai  and let fate decide.
 
Hell: Deal, but you gotta let me have 2 banzais. We always need more souls :)
 
Heaven: Sure! Heaven’s getting overcrowded anyways. :P
 
Hell: Lightbulb. To solve both of our problems and needs, for every 2 minutes, the souls in heaven will have to step on the banzai again.
 
Heaven: Bruh…. Best idea ever. I like the way you think.
 
Both the Gatekeepers nodded and fistbumped.
 
And that was how Heaven or Hell was made.
