"Loo-tic!" cried the Milotic as it emerged from its Pokéball once more.
  "ARE YOU READY TO KICK HER BUTT, PSYDUCK!?" yelled Abi.
  "Psy-aye-aye!" responded the Psyduck.

Abi knew that her Psyduck could not last much longer in battle since it had already sustained a great deal of damage from battling Sary's two other Pokémon. She had to end this quickly or else she would be admitting defeat to her sister once more. What was worse was that even if she was able to hit the Milotic, it could just use Recover and regenerate health. She could figure that her sister was thinking the same thing, and after all, her Milotic defeated Kyogre.
  "Milotic use Ice Beam!" instructed Sary.
  "Looo!" said the Milotic who landed a direct attack on the Psyduck.
  "No, Psyduck! Quickly use Protect!" cried Abi.
  "Psy, duck!" uttered the Psyduck as it used Protect in order to buffer the oncoming attack.
  "Now's your chance, Milotic," said Sary, "use Recover to regain all your lost health!"
  "Her strategy is really impressive," Jamie remarked to Rach, "she waited for her enemy to set up their defence and using that moment for her Pokémon to heal."
  "The Elite Four are an amazing group of trainers Jamie!" Rach replied, "they're incredibly experienced and strong trainers. Plus, you need to battle all of them first before being able to battle the Champion!"
  "Do you know who that is?" asked Jamie.
  "No! I don't! Somebody just beat the previous Champion and their identity is still not revealed to the people of Quibak!" Rach answered, "I really wish I did, such that I know who's autograph I am searching for!"
  "PSYDUCK USE TELEKINESIS!" yelled Abi, who was enraged by her sister's strategy.
  "You think you're going to fool me again, Abigail?" Sary said while giggling, "You just got lucky with my previous two Pokémon, but you won't this time! Now Milotic, use Attract on her Psyduck!"
 "Mi-lo-tic..." said the Milotic as it battered its eye, infatuating Abi's Psyduck.
  "PSYDUCK WHAT DID IT DO TO YOU!?" Abi yelled, "WHY ARE YOU NOT USING TELEKINESIS?"
  "PSYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" cried the infatuated Psyduck.
  "Heheheh, your Psyduck can't move now that my Milotic has it infatuated!" Sary observed, "this Pokémon battle will be over soon, and once again I will have won–"
  "ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS WINNING!" Abi declared, "I WON'T FORGIVE A SISTER WHO TRADED AWAY A GIFT I GAVE TO HER!"
  "Defeat my Milotic, and then I'll apologize!" asserted Sary, "Now Milotic, use Ice Beam once more on her Psyduck!"
  "Looo-tic!" said the Milotic.
  "YOU CAN'T LOSE PSYDUCK, FOR ALL OF OUR MAGIKARP FRIENDS!" yelled Abi as she picked up a nearby rock and threw it at her Psyduck's head, effectively impeding the infatuation from Sary's Milotic.
  "Psy?" said the Psyduck.
  "PSYDUCK DODGE THE ICE BEAM ATTACK THEN USE TELEKINESIS!" commanded Abi.
  "Duck!" cried the Psyduck as it gracefully jumped into the air once more to avoid the Milotic's attack, then proceeded to use its move.
  "Did Abi just abuse her Pokémon?" Jamie asked. She and her Eevee could not believe what they had just witnessed.
  "Errm, I think so..." Rach answered, "I think that her Psyduck does not mind it though..."
  "Now, Psyduck, use Confusion once more!" shouted Abi whose spirit was invigorating her Psyduck.
  "Psyyy-duuuuck!" cried the Psyduck as it released the built-up tension in its head.
  "Mirror Coat, Milotic, and prepare yourself for a rough landing!" yelled Sary.

Both Pokémon used their moves and created a large cloud of smoke which prevented everybody from seeing the field. Jamie could tell from this battle that she had a long way to go to become as strong of a Pokémon trainer as Sary and Abi are. She would need to develop a strong bond with her Eevee as well as the future Pokémon she caught. Also, even when battling somebody who she did not get along with, like Angel, she should not allow words to get the best of her emotions and continue to dedicate all her energy to her Pokémon.A breeze dissipated the smoke from the field and both Abi's Psyduck and Sary's Milotic were standing, yet they both displayed considerable damage.
  "Abi's Psyduck is much stronger than I expected!" Rach excitingly noted, "it's absolutely amazing!"
  "Wow, it's crazy how both Pokémon are standing after that kind of exchange," remarked Jamie.
  "Eevee!" said her Eevee.

Before Abi could ask her Psyduck it was alright, it fell to the ground and fainted. Her eyes widened as she realized that she was defeated.
  "Your Psyduck put up a good battle," Sary said as she returned her Milotic back to its Pokéball, "we should head to the Pokémon Center and get our Pokémon healed."
  "Whatever, Sarah..." Abi replied.
  "I think you did a great job battling!" Jamie observed as she walked over to her friend.
  "Vee-Eevee!" her Eevee eagerly added on.
  "I think your sister is impressed with your battling skills," Rach remarked, "it's not every day one gets to battle a member of the Elite Four and from my seat, I could tell that this was no ordinary battle for your sister!"
  "I mean, you could say that I guess?" Sary said since she did not want to admit it herself.
  "I'm so happy you guys are finally talking to each other and not yelling!" Rach said as she was hugging Jamie, Sary, and Abi together, "I love these happy moments, and they bring tears to my eyes!"
  "Rach...Get off...You're suffocating...Me..." said Jamie gasping for air.

Abi, Sary, Jamie, and Rach headed over to Soleil City's Pokémon Center in order to get Abi and Sary's Pokémon healed. Rach was fortunate enough to finally get an autograph from Sary as they walked over, and the group had to stop for a moment as she fainted to the ground due to pure joy.
  "POKÉMON CENTER WELCOMES YOU HELLO?!" yelled Nurse Hooligan from his station.
  "Chansey!" yelled his helper Pokémon.
  "TODAY I CAN HELP YOU!?" he added.
  "Oh my god there's another...?" Jamie asked as she was puzzled about how there could be an identical Nurse Hooligan at another Pokémon Center, "HOW?"
  "THERE'SES MORE OF ME YOU JUST NOT LOOK GOOD ENOUGH!" responded Nurse Hooligan.
  "See Jamie, there are actually tons of Nurse Hooligans!" Rach replied, "I think there are even more than 50 in the Quibak region, and they're all cousins."
  "YEAH I UNIQUE NURSE HOOLIGAN CAN YOU NOT TELL?" he asked with a serious look.
  "I love this," Abi remarked.
  "Nurse Hooligan, can we drop off some Pokémon to be healed?" Sary asked.
  "Chansey!" said the Chansey happily as she ran at light speed grabbing the Pokéballs from Abi and Sary, it was practically like she stole the Pokéballs from them as she was moving so quickly.
  "This is one weird Pokémon Center..." remarked Jamie, "Can I get out of here?"
  "YOU CAN AFTER YOU GIVE CHANSEY POKÉMON TO HEAL!" yelled Nurse Hooligan.
  "I don't have any Pokémon that need to be healed," Jamie said, "my Eevee is–"
  "EEVEE NEED HEAL NOW! CHANSEY!" Nurse Hooligan commanded.
  "Chan-sey!" said the Chansey as she grabbed Jamie's Eevee right out of her arms.
  "This is insane!" Jamie asserted, "you can't just take my Pokémon without my permission?"
  "I think he has and he just did Jamie," Rach said, "you see, Soleil City's Nurse Hooligan is kind of a jerk..."
  "BAD MOUTH ME? WHY?" yelled Nurse Hooligan.
  "What?! Me? No! Never!" replied Rach frantically.
  "Heheheheh, typical of Soleil City's Pokémon Center," Sary mentioned as she giggled.

After the Chansey had healed their Pokémon, the girls hurried out of the Pokémon Center as Soleil City's Nurse Hooligan's attitude was becoming increasingly threatening. It was very disturbing and made Jamie miss Maple Town for the first time. She wanted to call her mom and tell her that she made it already to Soleil City and she figured her mother was worrying greatly about her.
  "Rach, where could I call my mom?" Jamie asked.
  "Oh, we have a phone that you can use back at the lab," answered Rach, "why don't you all come back with me since Professor Jasaan should be available to give you a tour now? You should come along as well, Sary!”
